This code indicates a multiple gestation delivery where at least one infant was born alive, but not all infants in the multiple birth were liveborn. It signifies a mixed outcome for a multiple pregnancy, such as twins where one is liveborn and the other is stillborn.

Apply this code when documenting the outcome of a multiple gestation pregnancy (e.g., twins, triplets) where there is a combination of live births and fetal deaths. This is used on the maternal record to specify the overall outcome of the delivery event.

• Ensure documentation clearly specifies the number of fetuses and their individual outcomes (liveborn vs. stillborn).
