Congenital chordee

• Do not use this code if the penile curvature is acquired (e.g., Peyronie's disease); use an appropriate acquired curvature code instead.
• Frequently co-occurs with hypospadias (Q54.0-Q54.3); ensure both conditions are coded if present.
• Distinguish from penile torsion (Q55.63), which is a twisting of the penis, not a curvature.
