• Pair this code with an appropriate code from categories T74 (Adult abuse, neglect and exploitation) or T76 (Maltreatment syndromes) to specify the type of maltreatment.
• Do not use if the perpetrator's relationship is ambiguous or if the perpetrator is a stepbrother or half-brother (unless explicitly documented as "brother").
