Nondisp segmental fracture of shaft of right tibia, init

This code describes a fracture in the shaft (the long, central part) of the right tibia that is broken in at least two places, creating a segment of bone. The fractured bone pieces remain in their normal anatomical alignment, and the skin over the fracture is intact.

Use this code for the initial treatment of a patient presenting with a newly diagnosed, closed, segmental fracture of the right tibial shaft where the bone fragments are not displaced. This applies to the first encounter for active treatment of the fracture.
