Apply this code for a patient presenting for ongoing management of a previously diagnosed nondisplaced transverse fracture of the left tibial shaft that was an open fracture. This is specifically for encounters where the physician documents delayed healing of the open fracture. This code would be used after the initial treatment of the acute fracture.
