The original fracture did not involve the joint surface and the bone fragments were not displaced. This code is used when the patient is presenting for care related to the long-term effects or complications of this past injury.

Apply this code when a patient is seen for follow-up care, chronic pain, limited range of motion, or other sequelae directly attributable to a previously sustained, nondisplaced, non-intraarticular fracture of the left olecranon. This would include situations where the initial injury has healed but continues to impact the patient. Do not use for the initial treatment of the acute fracture.
